Day 2Dirang – Tawang

  • Leave behind the quiet charms of Dirang and ascend into the high Himalayas as you ride towards Tawang. The day’s route is a stunning mix of winding mountain roads, alpine forests, and panoramic vistas.
  • En route, cross the legendary Sela Pass (4,170 m / 13,700 ft), one of the highest motorable roads in India. Stop by the pristine Sela Lake, often partially frozen and surrounded by snow-covered peaks.

Day 3Tawang – Bum La Pass – Tawang

Day 9Majuli - Kaziranga – Guwahati

  • We start the day early with a ferry ride back to Neemati Ghat, bidding goodbye to the serene rhythms of Majuli. From there, we ride towards the famous Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the iconic one-horned rhinoceros.
  • We make a brief stop at Kaziranga for lunch and, time permitting, a quick visit to a viewpoint or interpretation center to soak in the wild essence of the region.
  • Post-lunch, we continue our journey to Guwahati, the gateway city of Assam, arriving by evening.
