Leaving Bomdilla, the road climbs steadily through alpine landscapes toward the legendary Sela Pass (13,700 ft), one of the most scenic mountain passes in the Eastern Himalayas. Stop at the pristine Sela Lake, often surrounded by mist and prayer flags.
  • Descending from the pass, ride through dramatic valleys and winding mountain roads before arriving in Tawang, a culturally rich town perched high in the mountains near the Indo-China border. Day 6Tawang – Bum La Pass – Tawang

  • Gear up for a ride to one of the most iconic and remote border posts in India—Bum La Pass (4600 mt), located on the Indo-China border. The route offers a mix of steep climbs, rugged terrain, and surreal Himalayan landscapes with scattered lakes and snow patches even in summer.
  • Visit the Madhuri Lake (Sangestar Tso), named after the Bollywood actress from a scene in Koyla, surrounded by dramatic, wind-carved trees and high-altitude beauty.
  • Pay your respects at the India-China Border Meeting Point, where Indian soldiers guard one of the most sensitive frontiers with unwavering resolve.
