  • Today is dedicated to exploring the cultural heart of Konyak Nagaland. After breakfast, ride towards Longwa Village, one of the most fascinating border villages in India, uniquely straddling the India–Myanmar international boundary
  • Visit the traditional Konyak longhouses, interact with village elders, and learn about the tribe’s history, customs, and warrior legacy. A walk through the village offers insights into everyday life in this remote region, where traditions remain deeply rooted.

Day 3Mon – Roing

  • After an early breakfast, we begin our ride out of Nagaland and head towards Eastern Arunachal Pradesh, transitioning from tribal hill roads to wide river valleys.
  • The highlight of today’s ride is crossing the iconic Bhupen Hazarika Setu (Dhola–Sadiya Bridge), India’s longest river bridge, spanning the mighty Brahmaputra. As you enter Arunachal, the scenery changes dramatically—dense forests, rolling hills, and quiet riverside roads define the journey.
  • By late afternoon, arrive in Roing, a charming town in the Lower Dibang Valley, surrounded by hills and rich wildlife. Check in, relax, and soak in the calm of this lesser-known corner of the Northeast before dinner and rest.

Day 4Roing – Anini (via Mayodia Pass)

  • Today’s ride is one of the most scenic and rewarding days of the expedition. After breakfast, we leave Roing and begin our gradual ascent towards Mayodia Pass, one of Arunachal Pradesh’s most beautiful mountain passes.
  • Descending from the pass, the landscape opens into the remote Dibang Valley, leading us to Anini, one of the most isolated and pristine towns in Arunachal Pradesh. Surrounded by towering peaks and untouched wilderness, Anini feels like the edge of the map.
  • Arrive by evening, check into your homestay or guesthouse, enjoy a warm dinner, and rest under star-filled skies in preparation for a relaxed exploration day ahead.

Day 6Anini – Roing

  • Descending gradually, we arrive back in Roing by evening. Check in, enjoy a well-earned dinner, and relax after another rewarding day of riding through Eastern Arunachal’s most dramatic terrain.

Day 7Roing – Walong (via Tezu)

  • After an early breakfast, we ride out from Roing towards Walong, heading deeper into one of India’s most remote border regions.
  • The route takes us through Tezu, with roads flanked by rivers, forested hills, and quiet settlements that underline the isolation of this landscape.
  • By evening, we arrive in Walong, a historic town near the India–China border, known for its role in the 1962 war and its stunning valley setting. Check in, enjoy a warm meal, and rest well — tomorrow brings one of the most special experiences of the expedition.

Day 8Walong – Dong Valley – Kaho – Kibithoo – Walong

  • An early start today takes us to Dong Valley, one of the first places in India to witness sunrise. Watching the sun rise over the easternmost mountains is a quiet, powerful moment — a highlight of the expedition.
  • Post sunrise, we ride towards Kaho, India’s easternmost inhabited village, set close to the India–China border. Life here moves at a different pace, offering rare insight into border village life and resilience.
  • We continue on to Kibithoo, another strategic frontier settlement surrounded by forests and flowing streams. After spending time exploring the region and interacting with locals, we begin our ride back to Walong by evening.

Day 9Walong – Dibrugarh (via Parashuram Kund)

  • We leave the remote mountains of Walong today and begin our descent towards the plains of Assam. The ride follows winding roads alongside rivers, dense forests, and small villages, offering a final glimpse of Arunachal’s raw beauty.
  • En route, we visit Parashuram Kund, one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites in Arunachal Pradesh, located on the banks of the Lohit River.
  • As the landscape gradually flattens, we ride into Dibrugarh, Assam’s tea capital, surrounded by sprawling tea estates. Check in to the hotel and enjoy a relaxed evening, marking the transition from high mountains to the Brahmaputra plains.

Day 10Dibrugarh – Guwahati (via Kaziranga National Park)

  • Today marks the final leg of the expedition as we ride through the heart of Assam. Leaving Dibrugarh early, the route takes us along smooth highways flanked by endless tea gardens and rural Assamese villages.
  • We ride past Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its population of one-horned rhinoceros, wild elephants, and rich birdlife. While we don’t enter the park, the surrounding forested landscape adds a scenic close to the journey.
  • By evening, we arrive in Guwahati, where the expedition officially concludes.
